Community Integration

Community integration means discovering you DO have choices. Too often individuals who have spent years in a nursing home become “institutionalized” and are not aware of the options available to them.

Socialialization Through Recreation

SMCIL supports Socialization through Recreation by actively participating with  and supporting Southern Maryland Community Resources, an agency in Southern Maryland that offers opportunities to meet new people, develop interpersonal skills, gain self-confidence, and most of all to have fun.
